The Bank of Maldives introduces virtual queuing for services at Male’ City branches and service centers via online queue tokens.
As per the national bank, with this change customers can request for tokens “for the Bank’s services” not available via ATM or online channels through the QueueBee application.
Moreover, customers can use the app to check waiting position online prior to visiting branches.
Furthermore, BML claims online tokens will be available from 08:00hrs till 12:00hrs on banking days.
According to the bank’s CEO and Managing Director Tim Sawyer, the new feature will ensure convenience to customers.
“Over the past few weeks, we have introduced a number of convenient banking services that have helped us provide services online and ensure the safety of our customers and staff. While we encourage customers to bank from home, the introduction of online queuing will help save time and provide a better service experience for those customers who are required to visit a branch.”
Moreover, BML confirms the QueueBee token services are application for the said branches:
- BML Main Branch
- Customer Service Center
- Male’ Business Center
- BML Islamic Branch
- Hulhumale’ Branch
- Vilimale’ Branch
Meanwhile, BML notes customers will receive entrance when there are only two customers waiting ahead in the ‘waiting position’ which the QueueBee app will indicate.
