Emirates, Etihad recommence flights to Maldives

Two of the premier international carriers Emirates and Etihad recommences their operations to Maldives once again.

Earlier both airlines made formal announcements of temporarily shutting their flight operations including Maldives amid the global pandemic of Covid-19.

Maldives government officially reopened its borders on last Wednesday, 15 July.

Moreover, flights from Qatar Airways and Sri Lankan Airlines made their landings on the same day as Maldives border reopening.

Meanwhile, Emirates have five scheduled flights every week following their recommencement of operations to the island nation.

Etihad Airways will operate two weekly flights following their restart of operations.
