Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) on Monday confirms project progression of Shaviyani atoll Feevah harbor construction.
As such, the contractor made remarks noting the project saw 52% progress.
Moreover, MTCC reports harbor basis dredging and breakwater construction under ongoing status with 88% and 66% completion respectively.
The project consists of dredging and excavation operations spanning 55,163 cubic meters.
Additionally, the project involves breakwater construction in 356 meter length along with 474 meter long quay-wall construction with variation between 70 to 112 meters.
Feevah harbor construction further involves pavement installation in a 2,320 square meters area.
Furthermore, installation of navigation and streetlights along with a ramp construction entails the project tasks.
MTCC confirms project value at MVR69.3 million, awarded on 2 July 2020 by Maldives government.
