Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) confirms completion of Felidhoo harbor development project.
According to the contractor, the development project saw conclusion on 30 July 2020.
Earlier, Maldives government assigned MTCC the project, with agreement signed on 05 September 2019.
Moreover, MTCC claims the project total was MVR18.5 million.
Felidhoo harbor development project entailed installation of a 126 meter long breakwater unit with a 61 meter long outer breakwater.
Furthermore, MTCC installed revetment in a 200 meter length and developed 610 square meter of pavement next to harbor.
Additionally, MTCC saw installation of streetlights and arm lights in the project area.
MTCC made commencement initial works of the project on 30 December 2019, while mobilization took place on 02 February 2020.
The contractor has successfully completed a total of 14 different projects within the second quarter of 2020.
