The harbor development project of Addu City Hulhudhoo is well underway as per Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).
Moreover, MTCC informs the project is currently observing dredging works for the harbor site.
According to the contractor the project entails dredging and excavation in an area of 88,623 cubic meters – making this one of the largest harbor venues in the country.
Furthermore, MTCC will construct a breakwater spanning 114 meters.
Additional components of the project include construction of a 624 meters long revetment and a 742 meters long quay-wall.
MTCC will further develop and install pavement in an area of 2,250 square meters, along with installation of street lights.
Meanwhile, the contractor estimates project value at MVR65.1 million.
