Marriott’s local properties to reopen on 1 October


Marriott International, the largest hotel chain in the world, is set to reopen their Maldivian properties after the Covid-19 closure.

Earlier, all four Marriott properties run in Maldives went into hibernation following the global viral pandemic reaching the island nation’s shores.

Moreover, the hotelier confirms their St. Regis Vommuli and W Maldives will officially reopen on 1 October.

Additionally, Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa along with JW Marriot Maldives Resort & Spa will open on the same date as well.

However, Marriott’s The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo will reopen officially on 1 November 2020.

Marriott International’s impressive portfolio holds various renowned hotelier sub-brands such as The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis and JW Marriott lines of properties that cater for luxury travelers.

Other notable brands under Marriott include their W Hotels, of which one they run one property in Maldives.

Furthermore, their Premium class hotelier brands include the Sheraton Hotels and Resorts as well as Marriott Hotels & Resorts.

Marriott International operates properties under these sub-brands in Maldives as well.
