Maldives government spending towards Covid-19 efforts as of 15 October 2020 stood at MVR2,427.8 million (MVR2.4 billion).
Moreover total health and social spending as of review period stood at MVR1,280.8 million (MVR1.3 billion), marking a 0.7% increment from previous week.
As of the review period, 47.2% of total health and social spending was committed spending.
Meanwhile Ministry of Health registers highest week-on-week spending.
As such, the ministry spent MVR4.7 million on supplies and requisites and MVR3.8 million on service provision and operational services.
On the other hand, total economic response spending stood at MVR1,147.0 million (MVR1.1 billion).
Furthermore, this marks a 0.4% increment from the week before.
Disbursements to NSPA during review week stood at MVR4.5 million, towards Income Support Allowance.
