Employees upset with Paradise Island Resort service charge pay

Employees of Paradise Island Resort mounts complaints over the relatively low service charge pay for December 2020.

Moreover, an employee of the famous Villa Hotels property comments service charge disbursements to individuals not employed at the resort.

“Employees unrelated to this resort [Paradise Island] are receiving service charge disbursements from the resort’s earnings. This has lead to low service charge disbursements for those under Paradise’s employment,” the anonymous employees notes.

Furthermore, complains are ripe with ‘heavier’ service charges for other Villa Hotels properties.

Complaints by the resort’s employees state employees of Sun Island and Royal Island, both Villa Hotels properties, received USD400 for December 2020.

Meanwhile, service charge per employee at Paradise Island stood at just USD259.
