Moreover, the pension administration wing reports the total disbursement stood at MVR123.5 million for review month.
The authority further reveals depositing funds to respective pensioners.
Furthermore, statistics reveal highest pension distribution category as ‘General Pension’, with a total of 18,884 pensioners receiving a collective total of MVR89 million.
On the other hand, retirees from government posts; making up 4,101 in total received over MVR19 million collectively.
Meanwhile, a total of 1,751 are recipients of retirement pension which stood at MVR7 million in review month.
Other retiree categories, making up 3,163 individuals received MVR5 million collectively.
