Maldives flagship carrier readies to operate direct flights between Maafaru International Airport and Mumbai, India.
During his first media appearance since taking up top post of Maldivian, the airline’s Managing Director Mohamed Mihad confirms direct flights between Maafaru and Mumbai city to commence on 13 April 2021.
Moreover, the flights will operate thrice every week through a regular schedule.
Furthermore, Mihad affirms preparations are at ongoing status to establish the direct flight link.
Mihad comments the region where Maafaru is situated is home to over 10,000 tourist beds across various tourist properties.
Additionally, Mihad notes travel from Maafaru to Noonu, Raa, Baa and Lhaviyani atolls take approximately one-hour by speedboats.
