Moreover, MTCC reports, as contractor Gulf Craft Maldives will be responsible for the design and build of 17 speed ferries.

The initiative comes as a direct response under MTCC’s “Integrated National Public Ferry Network Project.”

Furthermore, MTCC’s frontman Adam Azim bore signature on behalf of the company while Mr. Mohammed Hussain Alshaali bore signature on behalf of Gulf Craft Maldives.

Meanwhile, MTCC reports the new “speed ferries” will travel thrice faster than conventional and currently operating ferries, while accommodating 50 passengers onboard.

The new “speed ferries” will factor in design ergonomics to ensure passengers with various physical setbacks receive easy access.
