Patina Maldives Fari Island debuts

The first property of luxury hotelier brand Patina Hotels and Resorts, the “Patina Maldives Fari Island” makes debut.

The luxury island resort, developed through a land reclamation project, opened officially on 18 May 2021.

Reportedly the Patina Maldives Fari Island is an integrated resort project formed over three local island slips, which will include a Capella and Ritz-Carlton properties in the remaining two islands.

Developed on a design from a Brazilian architect, the resort is reported to boast a total of six different villa categories which include beach villas, sunset beach villas along with over-water bungalows.

Moreover, the resort accommodates its visitors in a total of 90 standard villas and 20 studio rooms along with a three-room beach house.

The resort’s management also reports the Patina Maldives Fari Island offers a broad range of culinary experiences through 12 of its restaurants including Greek, Mediterranean, South America, Japanese, French and Arab cuisines.

Additionally, the art-centric resort had incorporated beautiful artworks and canvases from renowned painters across the world.

Patina Hotels and Resorts is a sister-act under Capella Hotel Group, with an extensive global portfolio of luxury tourist properties across the globe.

While a new resort opening in Maldives comes in the form of Patina’s newest local property, Ministry of Tourism reports a total of 18 new property openings pegged for 2021.

Furthermore, the new properties collectively will add a total of 5,062 operational beds into the already large tourism segment of Maldives.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Tourism has pledged to attract a total of 1.5 million holidaymakers to the country despite the prevailing pandemic conditions.
