Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) on Monday, 14 June, revealed progress of work on design and build of Shaviyani atoll Feydhoo harbor project.
According to the contractor, the project has observed an overall 28% progress.
Meanwhile, the contractor on Monday further confirmed on the ongoing works under the project. As such MTCC is currently executing the dredging works for the new harbor basin.
The harbor development project includes a dredging and excavation operation spanning 27,500 cubic meters in volume.
Additionally, the project entails a 378-meter breakwater and a 90-meter revetment construction.
Apart from this, MTCC will install a 276-meter quay wall along with the installation of a 1,380 square-meter paved area in the harbor vicinity.
Furthermore, MTCC comments the project is valued at a total of MVR33.1 million.
