Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) on Tuesday, 15 June revealed their progress at Noonu atoll Landhoo harbor development site.
According to the contractor, the project has since observed an overall 53% progress.
Meanwhile, MTCC reported the new harbor basin’s dredging work has been ongoing with the said component observing 96% completion already.
The project scope includes dredging and excavation operations of 25,000 cubic meters in volume along with the construction of a 256-meter quay wall.
Additionally, the project components also include construction of a 401-meter breakwater and a 60-meter revetment.
As the project contractor, MTCC will also install both navigation and street lights with the additional development of a 2,380 square meter paved area along the harbor zone.
The project total as per MTCC is valued at MVR35.60 million.
