Abu Dhabi has once again included Maldives in their Covid-19 ‘Green List’ destinations.
Earlier, the island nation was removed from the UAE capital’s ‘Green List’ on 17 August. However, this has been revised once again by Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Department in their most recent update.
The UAE capital currently lists a total of 55 countries in their ‘Green List’ along with Maldives.
Furthermore, this inclusion will mean the travelers embarking to UAE from Maldives will no longer require to undergo quarantine measures. However, they are still mandated to present a negative PCR test result upon arrival.
United Arab Emirates had reopened their borders earlier on December 2020. Meanwhile, arrivals are required to present a negative PCR test not exceeding 48 hours prior to their departure from their departure destinations, upon arrival at UAE.
