India’s highest rated airline on TripAdvisor, Vistara Airline resumes their operations to Maldives on 02 September 2021.
The earlier was making frequent, weekly landings at the Velana International Airport (VIA) even on March 2021, before halting their operations on May 2021 following travel restrictions on South Asian countries.
As part of their operations, and with falling in adherence with the ‘air bubble’ agreement between Maldives and India, the airline was operating 3 flights between the countries every week.
Moreover, Vistara Airline, much like many of its counterparts had temporarily halted their operations to Maldives following the resurgence of positive Covid-19 cases in the country as well as sudden spikes of Covid-19 cases in the region.
Formed through a joint venture between Tata Group of India and Singapore Airlines, Vistara Airline has been hailed as the highest rated Indian airline on both Skytrax as well as TripAdvisor.
Furthermore, the airline’s full-service approach with modern touches have helped them win multiple ‘Best Airline’ accolades as well.
With their resumption of operations to Maldives once again, the number of airlines operating to Maldives directly from parts of India have increased to four.
