According to the latest updates from Ministry of Finance, Maldives state has spent MVR3,879.5 million (MVR3.9 billion) towards Covid-19 related efforts so far.
Moreover, the government had spent a total of MVR2,106.1 million (MVR2.1 billion) on health and social spending which had observed a 1.6% increment from the previous week.
On the other hand, as of 07 September the total economic response spending reached MVR1,773.4 million (MVR1.8 billion), marking just a slight increment from the previous week.
Under the Covid-19 health and social spending, Ministry of Health observed the highest spending in comparison with its peers which has currently reached a cumulative total of MVR805.1 million.
