Maldives Airports Company Ltd (MACL) has partnered up with Think Advertising for developing and publishing of VIA Maldives magazine.
VIA Maldives is the official magazine of Velana International Airport.
The agreement was signed by MACL Managing Director Adil Moosa and Think Advertising Managing Director Adeel Ismail.
“We are delighted to partner with one of the leading and experienced advertising agency in the country. We firmly believe that together with Think Advertising, we can make this project successful,” Adil Moosa said.
Think Advertising previously published ‘Vara’ magazine, the inflight edition of Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA).
“We thank MACL for entrusting us with the work of developing the first ever airport magazine as we consider this opportunity as a great privilege. We are keenly looking forward to making this project a success,” Adeel said.
The first edition of VIA will be issued in August 2018. The publication will include information on the Maldives, airport, with dedicated sections on atolls, resorts and guesthouse islands.
Velana International Airport caters to over four million travelers. This number is expected to increase to 20 million after the airport’s expansion and development project is completed successfully.
