Minister of Finance, Mr. Ibrahim Ameer remains hopeful that the island nation’s economy will continue to progress at a fast pace in future.
Moreover, the minister claimed that according to the latest statistics from International Monetary Fund (IMF) the country will have the fourth fastest economic progress prospectively. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Finance estimates the country will be the second fastest economy in the world to progress.
Furthermore, the minister had made the comments while speaking about the progress made in the financial industry collectively over the past three years.
During the speech, he also highlighted on the planned initiatives in the field in the upcoming years.
According to Minister Ameer, the significant achievements made by the government in the financial sector is resultant from the responsible state policies amid the Covid-19 global pandemic.
