The newest airline from Sri Lanka, Fly Lankan Asia is reportedly preparing for their direct flight operations to the Maldives.
Moreover, the airline’s decision for its flight operations to Maldives fall in line with the carrier’s strategy of launching initial operations to neighboring countries. As such the airline is planning on commencing flight operations to India, Malaysia, Indonesia as well as Myanmar along with Maldives.
Furthermore, the airline will commence its operations to the Middle-East as well, namely to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Fly Lankan Asia will be utilizing newly acquired Boeing 737 carriers with seating capacities between 160 to 190.
Meanwhile, the airline’s CEO Dr. Arosha Fernando affirms cheaper fare prices from the carrier. In addition to this, Dr. Fernando comments they aim to bring in fresh competitiveness to air-cargo segment as well as improve overall services of the aviation industry.
Fly Lankan Asia is Sri Lanka’s third international airline which came to inception following the merger of the low-cost carrier MihinLanka with Sri Lankan airlines.
