Vakkaru Maldives has announced a series of new experiences and upgraded facilities for 2022.
The luxury tourist resort that was crowned ‘Indian Ocean’s Leading Resort’ in this year’s World Travel Awards will reportedly open a new padel tennis court in December.
In addition to this, the tourist getaway will open a brand new “sunset-facing” yoga pavilion dubbed Merana Spa during mid-December.
Moreover, Vakkaru Maldives will be expanding its culinary experiences with new additions to the menu on one of the most popular dining spots in the island; the Lagoon Bar.
Furthermore, new table arrangements have been installed at the Organic Farm where guests of ten, simultaneously, can dine while being immersed between coconut palms and other greenery.
Speaking about the new experiences and facility upgrades, the resort’s General Manager Mr. Iain McCormack commented, “at Vakkaru, we are committed to enhancing the guest experience by continually responding to ever-changing industry trends and consumer demands.”
He added, “we look forward to welcoming guests to our paradise island to experience these exciting new initiatives which have been rolled out just as the Maldives prepares to celebrate its Golden Jubilee Year of Tourism in 2022.”
