Dusit Thani Maldives announces appointing their newest Executive, British chef Paul Elliot King to lead the resort’s culinary team.
Moreover, the luxury Thai-inspired resort situated at Baa atoll developed on Mudhdhoo Island is a top-tier hospitality property renowned for its peaceful accommodation and gastronomic adventures.
The newest addition into Dusit Thani Maldives’ family, Mr. King is a renowned chef with over 30 years of experience in the industry, with a professional portfolio originating in the UK and reaching as far as the Asia.
Furthermore, Mr. King made his debut in the industry back in the 1980s and went on to hone his skills at iconic landmarks of the era such as The Savoy and The Dorchester.
In addition to this, his outside of hometown adventures include a stint as an Executive Sous Chef in two Hilton hotel properties; in Vietnam and then in the Maldives.
In 2013, he took over the responsibilities of leading the culinary team at Jumeirah Vittaveli and from there he then moved on to Kuredi Island Resort and Spa, the second largest tourist resort hotel in the Maldives where apart from holding the Executive title he was also the HACCP Chairman.
