Thai AirAsia resumes direct flights to Maldives

Thailand’s low-fare airline, Thai AirAsia resumes their direct flight operations to the Maldives post the Covid-19 lead interruption.

Meanwhile, the airline’s first flight since the hiatus and operation resumption to the Maldives, was warmly greeted by the Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) at Velana International Airport (VIA).

Reportedly, the airline will operate two flights every week particularly making landings at VIA on Wednesdays and Saturdays while Thai AirAsia will operate between Bangkok- Don Mueang airport and Male’.

The Thai AirAsia is a joint venture between Malaysia’s low-fare carrier AirAsia and Thailand’s Asia Aviation.
