The Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) Mr. Thoyyib Mohamed has stated that the aviation industry is one of the fundamental pillars of global tourism.
According to Mr. Mohamed, the global aviation industry was instrumental in the advent of the tourism industry, and the two industries function in a symbiotic manner.
The MMPRC frontman made the remarks while speaking at the panel discussion of the ninth edition of the Arab Aviation Summit held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
At the panel discussion, Mr. Mohamed delineated the past two years’ transformative nature on the entire state of the world, specifically the global aviation and tourism industries.
He further stated that the two industries were “perhaps” the hardest-hit economic components amid the Covid-19 global pandemic.
Addressing the topic further, he noted the “quid pro quo” bond between global aviation and tourism stating that the two industries “should work closely together to overcome challenges.”
