The Maldives and the country’s leading tourism promoter; Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) have received recognition at the Global MICE Congress & Awards 2022.
The awarding event was held on 22 March 2022, at the Taj Lands End in Mumbai, India.
At the event, Maldives won the title of “Most Preferred Tourist Destination 2021” while MMPRC landed the win for “Best Marketing Initiative of the Year” for its “Redefining MICE” campaign.
MMPRC launched its “Redefining MICE” campaign on the sidelines of the MILT Congress 2021, held earlier last year in India.
Furthermore, the tourism promoter stated that the campaign aimed to “redefine the ideas in the current market regarding traveling to conduct meeting, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) activities.
The campaign focused on promoting the natural advantages of the Maldives in terms of safety, seclusion, and privacy, making the island nation the best suited destination to cater to all kinds of MICE travelers.
This year marks the fourth installation of the prestigious awarding event, which is organized by prominent industry professionals with over 29 years of experience in conducting similar-scale events in 23 states of India and 18 countries globally.
