New marketing campaign with ASTA targeting US market

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) launched a new destination marketing campaign in association with American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA).

As per the tourism promoter, the new marketing initiative will be a year-long event with a keen focus on the US traveler market.

Under the initiative, Maldives will be placed on the ASTA World Destination guide, with its print edition expected to reach over 55,000 travel sales agents and the digital version reportedly to be sent to over 20,000 ASTA members.

MMPRC reported that the campaign content will assist US travel trade professionals on how to market the Maldives to create interest among travelers.

The effort aims to provide US travel trades with first hand sales tips on the region, best times to visit the Maldives, and other relevant information.
