Ooredoo partners up with Snapchat

Ooredoo Maldives announced its latest partnership with American multimedia instant messaging service Snapchat.

The telecommunication provider’s newest partnership aims to promote and create awareness towards augmented reality (AR) among Maldivian consumers.

As part of the new initiative, Ooredoo Maldives launched a new Maldives-centric lens on Snapchat along with a geo-filter focused on Maldives tourism.

Moreover, the features were added into Snapchat as part of the “Visit Maldives Now” marketing strategy as well as in commemoration of the Golden Jubilee of Maldives tourism, which will be celebrated in October 2022.
