MMPRC initiates virtual reality experience in Dubai

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) in association with has kicked off a virtual reality destination marketing campaign in Dubai.

The virtual reality campaign will be hosted at the City Center Deira Mall in Dubai from 10 to 16 May 2022.

Under the campaign, a virtual reality booth was set up at the fixed location in the mall which provides visitors to have VR experiences of the Maldivian archipelago including the touristic properties and the pristine environment.

MMPRC’s partner in the campaign,, founded in 2007, is UAE’s first premium-experience online travel website and it currently runs a network of nine distinct branches in the country.

The virtual reality campaign aims to maintain the destination image and brand awareness in the Middle Eastern traveler market, in the hopes of increasing inbound travelers to the Maldives from the region.
