BML Increases Operational Hours For Ramadan

Bank of Maldives has announced that they have increased operational hours for the month of Ramadan.

This is in contrast to their operational hours in previous years.

BML said that during the month of Ramadan all branches in capital Male’ City will be open from 1000hrs to 1400hrs. Branches in other areas will be operational from 1030hrs to 1300hrs.

As usual, the bank’s 35 self-service ATM’s across the nation will be operational 24hrs. Customers in the islands can withdraw cash using the Bank’s cash agent service.

BML Head of Retail Banking Moosa Nimal reported that changes to operational hours were made due to increased demand in Male’, especially during the month of Ramadan.

‘Customers can access our services 24 hours via our 35 self-service banking centers. And our contact centers will be open 24 hours to provide any assistance required by our customers,’ he said.

BML has a network of 34 branches in 20 atolls, 35 self-service banking centers, 95 ATMs, 5,000 PoS merchants and 277 cash agents, along with a state of the art online banking service.
