Maldivian Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) is in final preparations for the Maldivian Night in Mumbai, India.
MATATO said that over 200 travel professionals from the Maldives and other countries are expected to participate in the Maldivian night.
Mumbai’s Four Season’s Hotel will host the Night.
MATATO Deputy Secretary General Asra Naseem described this a one-of-a-kind event and completely exclusive to MATATO.
Eight local parties will represent Maldives, while over 150 travel agents and tour operators from India are to participate in the Night. Friday’s event will allow participants to hold meetings, give stage presentations, entertainment activities and a networking dinner.
This is the third event held by MATATO in India, which is a growing market for tourism.
MATATO had previously announced that they will be holding many activities abroad to promote tourism in the Maldives and Maldives as a must visit destination.
