WAMCO introduces lenient registration program

WAMCO introduces lenient registration for its waste collection services.

The new ‘Doorstep Plus’ program for service registration is to help customers who are struggling to register due to their home-owner being out of island or uncooperative, WAMCO said in a statement released on Sunday.

WAMCO’s regulation mandates that only the house-owners can register apartments for waste collection service. However, people that are living for rent across the Maldives have faced difficulties registering for the services – WAMCO said it hopes to make the process easier for these potential customers by signing up with the ‘Doorstep Plus’ program.

Doorstep Plus requires a fixed deposit for registration, including MVR50 for administrative free. A non-refundable advanced payment for three months of waste collection must also be made during registration.
