Sri Lanka’s largest and first private airline, FitsAir, has announced scheduled direct flights to the Maldives.
According to the airline, scheduled flights to Malé will begin on 10 October. Fits Air will operate 3 flights to the Maldives every week, on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.
The airline is also set to begin flights to Dubai, operating three flights weekly.
Prior to this, Fits Air operated cargo operations between Sri Lanka and the Maldives. The airline began cargo operations in April 2020.
FitsAir is the second international airline in Sri Lanka.
