Oman Air to Restart Flights to the Maldives

Oman Air is to restart flights between Muscat and Maldives after a hiatus of two years.

The airline’s Chief Executive Officer Abdul Aziz al-Raisi reported to international media sources that flights will once again from the 28th of October.

When the flights restart, the airline will use their new Boeing 737 max range of planes. These planes are equipped with 12 business class seats. Oman air has also launched a promotion for European fliers, offering them a layover in Oman.

Oman Air first began flights to the Maldives back in 2009. They halted operations in the Maldives in April 2016, citing financial issues. Then, they said that they had no intention of resuming operations.
