Condor to resume Male’-Frankfurt flight operations

Condor, one of the most well-liked airlines in Germany, will relaunch flights to Maldives on Sunday, October 2.

The airline, which operated flights to Maldives, had to cancel the operation as the borders were shut down due to the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020. Following the curbing of COVID-19 restriction, the airline began two flights a week between Frankfurt and Male’.

Following a cessation, Condor is planning to resume flights to Maldives this week, coinciding with the beginning of the peak tourist season in Maldives. This time, the Condor will reportedly operated three flights a week to Maldives. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, direct flights are scheduled from Frankfurt to Velana International Airport (VIA).

Maldives tourism benefits from the German market. Lufthansa are currently operating flights between Germany and Maldives.
