The Business Centre Corporation (BCC) has opened applications for the Food Kiosks at the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Hub.
BCC said on an announcement that all local micro, small and medium enterprises in food and beverage businesses can apply for the Food Kiosks at SME Hub. The deadline is 12:00hrs on October 20, 2022.
The interested parties can view the kiosks between 14:00 to 17:00 on October 16-17, 2022, BCC said.
The commercial hub dedicated for micro, small and medium enterprises is set to open at STO Allied Building, located in Chaandhanee Magu.
BCC said the purpose of such a commercial hub is provide a space for SMEs to get their desired market opportunities and reach, and helping them take their businesses to the next level.
The first floor is dedicated for food businesses, with 16 kiosks varying from 37 to 60 square feet, depending on the type of business. The total rent for kiosks range from MVR 8,900 to MVR 12,400, much lower than usual rent amount for businesses in Greater Male’ Area.
The “SME Hub” caters for businesses such as painting, handicrafts, fashion and accessories, plants and botany, books, local medicine, performing arts and make-up.
The corporation has not yet announced a date for the official opening of the hub.
