MMPRC showcase Maldives at ILTM Cannes 2022


Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) is showcasing the island nation at the ILTM Cannes 2022.

MMPRC is participating in the travel trade event along with 14 industry partners. The event is held at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrè€s, Cannes, France. The ILTM Cannes 2022 kicked off on December 5, Monday and will last until December 8, Thursday.

ILTM Cannes is touted as one of the top luxury travel trade fairs held in the world. The platform provides travel trade partners from France and around the globe to market with one another, seek potential projects and investment opportunities as well. The four-day event include educational sessions, networking, entertainment and exposure for participants.

The event provides MMPRC with the opportunity to market the Maldives as a tourism destination, aligned with its core strategies and targets aimed at the French market. The premier tourism promoter of the Maldives is focused on connecting and networking with trade buyers from the market, strengthen existing relations and provide them with the latest updates of the Maldivian tourism industry.

France is among the top ten source markets to the Maldives, with over 42,000 annual arrivals recorded by November 30, 2022.
