ITA Airways will resume its flights to Velana International Airport (VIA) on December 17, 2022.
The carrier is expected to operate the brand new Airbus A350 to the Maldives route.
Following the first resumption flight, the airline will operate three weekly flights from December 21 until January 22, 2023. Additionally, ITA Airways is expected to operate two weekly flights from January 28 until April 15, 2023.
The airline came to inception after the bankruptcy of Italy’s previous national carrier Alitalia.
