Sri Lankan airlines to increase flights to Addu

Sri Lankan Airlines has decided to increase the frequency of flights to Addu City Gan. The neigbouring island nation’s national carrier currently operates 1 flight a week to Gan International Airport.

Due to the increased arrivals in Maldives, the airline has decided to operate two weekly flights directly from Colombo to Gan until March 2023.

The flights will be operated on Saturdays and Tuesdays, according to Mohamed Firaq, the Managing Director of Ace Aviation, the Sri Lankan Airlines agent in the Maldives.

Meanwhile, FlyDubai is also preparing to commence direct flight operations between Dubai and Gan. The daily flights will be commenced in February 2023.
