Imports to Maldives up 15%, exports down 5% in November 2022

Maldives Customs Service report a 15% increment in total imports, inclusive of fuel in November 2022.

According to the authority, imports inclusive of fuel reached MVR4.6 billion during review month. Meanwhile, imports excluding fuel saw a 4% rise, which translates to MVR3.5 billion of imported goods.

On the other hand, exports saw a 5% drop, which is MVR168 million of commodities.
