State seeks bidders for Sh. Funadhoo hospital construction project

The Maldives Ministry of Finance announced Thursday last week, seeking interested bidders for the construction of Sh. Funadhoo hospital building.

Bidding will proceed in accordance with the following regulations;

  1. Construction Contractors Regulation
  2. Regulation on awarding construction projects by national tender
  3. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) policy

Eligible contractors will be vetted under the ministry’s National Competitive Bidding (NCB) policy. Eligibility criteria and other prerequisites are listed on the bid books.

Bidders must pay an MVR1,500 non-refundable registration fee, which they must settle between January 12 and February 07, between 08:00hrs and 14:00hrs on public workdays. Payments should be done via the ministry’s online portal (https://bandeyripay.finance.gov.mv).

Bidders must pay a bid security of MVR1,650,000, which should be settled within 148 days from the date of bid announcement.

 

Bidders must mail their credentials including; the name of the bidder, business address, contact number, email, and a copy of the payment receipt to [email protected] and Cc to [email protected].

All relevant documents for bidders will be available on www.finance.gov.mv and will be available for download from January 15, 2023, effectively.

Any queries related to the project or bidding should be forwarded to the listed mail addresses before 13:00hrs, January 26.

Bid opening is scheduled for February 09, 2023, at 10:00hrs. The bid opening will be held at the national tender conference hall, the Ministry of Finance. The bids must be secured within enclosed envelopes, and the envelopes must bear the name of the contract, bid opening date, and time.
