State changes project policies for S. Hithadhoo Islamic center development project

The Ministry of Finance on Sunday, January 15, announced notable updates in the S. Hithadhoo Islamic center development project.

The project will proceed under the Construction Contractors Regulation (CCR) of the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.

Additionally, the project will be awarded based on the Ministry of Finance’s awarding policy for construction projects under national tenders, and the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) policy of the Ministry of Economic Development.

Eligible bidders will be selected through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) policy of the Ministry of Finance, with prerequisites and criteria listed in the bid book.

Bidders must pay an MVR500 non-refundable registration fee from November 15, 2022, until January 17, 2023, between 08:00hrs and 14:00hrs on workdays. Payments should be made through the online payment portal; Bandeyri Pay (https://bandeyripay.finance.gov.mv). Bidders should mail a copy of the payment receipt, name of the bidder, address, contact number, and email address.

Participating bidders must pay a bid security of MVR235,000, payable within 148 days from the date of the bid opening. Bids will be opened on January 19, at 11:00hrs at the Ministry of Finance.

Bidders must present the bid proposals within enclosed envelopes bearing the bidder’s name, bid opening date, and time.

The last date to forward inquiries is January 16, before 13:00hrs.
