The Ministry of Finance has announced seeking for interested contractors to design and build the shore protection of K. Thulusdhoo.
The ministry announced on behalf of the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (MNPHI). Bidding for the project has been opened, which will proceed under the following guidelines and policies;
- The Construction Contractors Regulation of the MNPHI
- The awarding policy for construction projects under national tendering of the Ministry of Finance
- The Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) policy of the Ministry of Economic Development
The ministry will vet the eligibility of the bidders based on the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) policy. Bidder criteria are listed in the bid book, available from the ministry.
All relevant document soft copies are available from the ministry’s website (www.finance.gov.mv) effective from January 10.

Participating bidders must pay an MVR500 non-refundable registration fee via the online payment portal Bandeyri Pay (https://bandeyripay.finance.gov.mv) between January 8 and January 24, 2023; between 08:00hrs and 14:00hrs on public workdays.
Bidders must send their bid proposals within enclosed envelopes bearing the bid title, bid opening time and date, and the bidder’s name.
The winning bidder should settle an MVR168,500 as bid security, which should be paid within 148 days from the date of bid opening. Bid opening is scheduled at 11:00hrs on January 26 at the ministry’s National Tender Conference Hall.
