Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) launches an interesting destination marketing campaign with McDonald’s.
Under the marketing campaign, MMPRC will share content with McDonald’s Travel TV to promote the Maldives in the German-speaking markets.
Maldives will be advertised in 700 McDonald’s outlets, and will reportedly reach 35 million consumers.
The advertisement will showcase the “unique experiences of the Maldives”. MMPRC will focus on beautiful underwater seascapes, shipwrecks, romantic experiences, and sandbanks in the promo material.
MMPRC said the advertisements are “carefully curated based on the interests and preferences” of the German-speaking markets: Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
German-speaking markets are among the top-performing source markets in the Maldives. German arrivals reached 132,426 as of December 28, 2022, making it the 4th strongest source market last year.
MMPRC has conducted a diverse variety of marketing campaigns in the German-speaking market which include initiatives with TUI Austria, TUI Germany, Condor, FTI, and outdoor campaigns with Dotcom Arabia.
The leading tourism promoter also took part in the IMM Germany, IMEX 2022, and ITB Digital Business Day in 2022.
