Thailand’s Singha Estate are to purchase six resorts including Maldives’ Outrigger Konotta Beach Resort.
Industry publications reported that Singha Estates are to purchase six properties owned by Hawaii’s Outrigger Company. The entire purchase is valued at US$ 310 million and will add 895 rooms to Singha Estate.
Singha Estates are to purchase the following properties:
Konottaa is 53 villa, five-star property. The resort had earned international acclaim.
Singha Estate is presently developing Emboodhoo Lagoon in the Maldives, which will feature nine resorts, duty free shops, an outlet of Hard Rock Cafe’, cultural center and a marine life center. Under the first phase of development, US$ 311.5 million will be invested in developing three islands. Once completed, Emboodhoo Lagoon will have a total combined 1,300 rooms.
