The Maldives government is seeking interested contractors to develop a mosque in AA. Himandhoo.
The Ministry of Finance announced seeking bidders on behalf of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs. The bidding will follow;
- Construction Contractors Regulation of the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure
- National Tender Construction Projects Awarding Regulation of the Ministry of Finance
- Foreign Direct Investment Policy of the Ministry of Economic Development
Eligible bidders will be shortlisted based on the ministry’s National Competitive Bidding (NCB) policy.
Participating bidders must pay an MVR500 non-refundable registration fee, which they must pay between January 23 and January 30; between 08:00hrs and 14:00hrs of public workdays. Payments should be made online at the Bandeyri Pay portal.
The ministry will accept inquiries about the project or bidding until 13:00hrs, January 25.
Bid opening is scheduled for February 01 at 10:00hrs. Bid opening will be held at the ministry’s National Tender Conference Hall.
The winning bidder must pay an MVR50,000 bid security, which should be settled with the ministry within 148 days from the date of the announcement.
