Work on the design and build of ADh. Mandhoo harbor development project is currently underway with overall 73% project progress; reported Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).
According to MTCC, quay wall construction work has been completed, while harbor pavement installation work is currently ongoing at the site with 44% completion.
The scope of works in the project includes dredging and excavation operations of 52,271 cubic meters, channel dredging operations of 35,849 cubic meters, construction of a 266-meter quay wall, a 40-meter breakwater, a 156-meter revetment, and a 186-meter groynes. Additionally, MTCC will install lights across the harbor and streets, navigational aids, and construction of a 1,275-square-meter pavement.
MTCC reported that the project total is worth MVR29.3 million.
