Ooredoo Maldives announced that it will be hosting a STEM fair to promote STEM education in the country.
The fair is scheduled from March 2 to 3, and will be held in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Women in Tech Maldives.
According to Ooredoo Maldives, the fair will allow students to showcase their talents, productivity, and craftsmanship in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Chief Commercial Officer of Ooredoo Maldives, Hussain Niyaz had spoken on the significance of a STEM science fair and providing opportunities to promote STEM education in the Maldives.
“Ooredoo STEM fair will allow students to showcase their talents and encourage them to come up with innovations related to real-world situations. The fair will also help us identify the interest among students in STEM subjects,” Niyaz said.
