Due to issues with the premises’ water system, the laboratory services at Dharumavantha Hospital have been temporarily suspended.
The hospital, which is part of Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), has one of the largest laboratories in the country.
IGMH tweeted on Thursday morning, March 9, that there was a problem with the water system in the building, and added that the management will commence services as soon as the issue is resolved.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,” IGMH said.
While laboratory services in the hospital will be unavailable on Thursday, IGMH said that any urgent medical samples from patients have been sent to Hulhumale’ Hospital for testing.
