The cumulative total of state expenditures reached MVR7,267.6 million (MVR7.3 billion) as of March 2, 2023.
Meanwhile, the cumulative total of state revenues inclusive of grants reached MVR6,176.4 million (MVR6.2 billion) by the review date.
The overall balance for the period is a deficit of MVR1,091.2 million (MVR1.1 billion).
The cumulative total of tax revenues is now at MVR5,308.9 million (MVR5.3 billion) and the cumulative total of non-tax revenues is at MVR856.9 million. The government has received MVR9.3 million in grants so far this year.
On the other hand, the cumulative total of recurrent expenditure is at MVR5,458.6 million (MVR5.5 billion) and the cumulative total of capital expenditure is now at MVR1,809.0 million (MVR1.8 billion).
The government repaid MVR527.4 million for outstanding loans. Transfers to the Sovereign Development Fund (SDF) in the review week stood at MVR163.3 million.
The Maldives government has spent MVR1,397.6 million (MVR1.4 billion) on Public Sector Investment Program (PSIP).
