Nova Maldives announced it will be joining the worldwide celebration of Earth Hour on Saturday, March 25.
The tourist property will be switching off the lights from 20:30hrs until 21:30hrs. The property has invited all of its guests to join the Nova community on the beach to take part in the event.
The celebration will start with lighting fire on the Earth Hour 60+ logo on the beach. The logo “symbolizes unity and hope and demonstrates the power of collective action.”
Nova brand stands for “being rooted and committed to environmental stewardship, responsible tourism, and supporting a sustainable future.”
The property offers various initiatives in line with its efforts to promote environmental sustainability including flora and fauna workshops, Coral Frame Sponsorship Program, and collaboration with Maldives Whale Shark Research Program.
